THEIR STORY

One warm summer evening, Kari & Steve Conner, both born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, set out on a search to find an ice cream shop in Spokane to satisfy their summer cravings, but there wasn’t one. Especially not one that offered top shelf ice cream. This night started their mission to provide Spokane with premium quality ice cream. Knowing they wanted to align themselves with a strong brand that believes in giving back to the local community, they discovered Ben & Jerry’s! Ben & Jerry’s not only offered super premium ice cream with creative, fun flavors, but they really push for their local owners to give back to their communities. This led to the first Ben & Jerry’s being open in our region in 2004.

Kari & Steve have been scooping in Spokane and at their legendary Free Cone Day (April every year) for 14 years. They have given away over 150,000 cones in support of our amazing local nonprofit organizations such as Blessings Under the Bridge, Honor Flight, Christmas Wish, and the Ronald McDonald House, just to name a few.

As the popularity of the business grew in Spokane, it soon expanded to the streets. Ben & Jerry’s Spokane has the ability to bring ice cream to the people in just about any location. They have four different vehicles that can deliver ice cream to any party, wedding, or special event with all of the signature flavors everyone loves. In 2017, the new “Woody” scoop truck hit the streets of Spokane and can roll up and serve any business in minutes. For much larger events, like Pig Out in the Park, you will see our “Cowmobile” trailer that can scoop for thousands! With over 30 flavors, to include a very impressive non-dairy lineup, Ben & Jerry’s can offer a variety of flavors to make sure your guest leave satisfied. Whether you need an ice cream party for 10 or 5,000, Ben & Jerry’s will bring the FUN to your party with one of their rigs.
